Wondering if anyone has any answers. My 2yr old gsd has a odor coming from just at the top of his tail and on the opposite side.
He has had his anal glands removed about a ear ago. But it almost has that same odor. I took him to the vet today and he flet the odor was not that bad. He checked his rectum and inside and out was good. He said that a non neuteured male dog when has testosterone right at the top of the tail is a scent gland that may be causing it.
Any ideas or suggestions are welcome.
